Former Stillwater Teacher Accused Of Sexual Misconduct Faces Preliminary Hearing

A former Stillwater teacher accused of sexual misconduct is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Monday.

Alberto Morejon was arrested back in May after a parent came forward saying they were concerned about their child's relationship with a former teacher. Morejon was arrested by Stillwater Police back in May on a complaint of indecent proposals or acts to a child under the age of 18.

During the course of their investigation, Stillwater Police say a second victim then came forward saying Morejon was inappropriate with her as well. Court documents say the victim was a former student of Morejon's who told investigators she would confide in him when at school. They say when she was no longer in his class he began speaking with her through Snapchat. The 16-year-old victim told police those conversations escalated to being sexual in nature and she said he would send her nude photos.

Morejon created the Facebook group "Oklahoma Teachers United" and was credited with heading up the teacher walkout back in 2018. Morejon's teaching license was suspended and he was ordered to not have contact with any of the students involved or their families.
