Historic WW2 Bomber To Land In Tulsa For The Weekend

A historic WWII B-17 bomber plane will fly into Tulsa for the weekend.

The B-17 "Yankee Lady" is one of only four in the world that are still in flying condition.

The plane is expected to fly into the Tulsa international airport around 10 a.m. on Friday before making its way to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum where it will and stay until Saturday. During that time, museum attendees can purchase general admission tickets and take guided tours from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on both days.

For a separate cost, museum attendees will even have the chance to book a flight on the historic aircraft and go on a once in a lifetime flight through the city.

The Yankee Lady is usually based in Michigan and is making its Tulsa stop as a part of its "Salute to Victory Tour."
